TRAVEL LIKE A GAL:

IRENA SHERSHENEVA

Today my guest is Irena Shersheneva. We were attending a mastermind together about how to monetize our blogs. Ira would love to monetize her illustrations, but I didn't know what to do and decided to travel. That time I realized that Ira was also traveling alone, and I felt that she could really share her experience with everybody!

Let's see what happened.
Tell more about yourself. Where do you live, and what do you do?
I live in Vietnam. Currently, it's been Nha Trang since January. I teach English in schools and language centers for 1-2 hours daily. I draw illustrations for educational books, fabric prints, posters, and illustrations for other printed materials.
I'm also a marketing and sales manager in a yacht chartering company.

— What is your passion?
At the moment, it is singing and learning languages. Self-knowledge through drawing, philosophy, and music.
— Why have you decided to start traveling?
Because I saw on TV that there are places on Earth, besides where I live.
— What is your favorite place on the Earth, and where is it located?
I think there is not such a place. It could be France, but I think it's just because it is my first place, like a first love.
It's nostalgia or possibly that I'm wrong and actually my place in France, will see.

— What did traveling teach you?
Tolerance of people and everything that happens, and generally be calmer.

— What are you afraid of? What do you do when you're scared?
Sometimes I feel that I'm lonely. Sometimes I'm afraid that there is no special place to call home. Or, what if I'm living wrong and I haven't found myself? These are rare thoughts that everyone has, no matter what they do.

— What do you do when everything goes wrong?
Thinking about how to do it right.
How do you deal with feelings of uncertainty? With doubts?
Don't focus on doubt.

What do you think is your main achievement in life?
Birth, my mother wanted me to be born, and I was born.

Where are you looking for inspiration?
I talk to people, read books, and watch philosophy lectures.

What is happiness for you?
Feeling while waiting for something you desire.

What would you suggest to those girls who also want to start traveling?
Just start, if you don't go then you don't want to, then maybe better to choose something else you like to do.
